Three arrested, one at large following burglary at Van Buren County dispensary – WWMT-TV

VILLAGE OF LAWRENCE, Mich. — Three suspects were arrested and another remains at large following a burglary at a dispensary in the Village of Lawrence early Sunday morning, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to TruLeaf Dispensary on Crandall Parkway around 3:30 a.m. after the owner of the business saw several people via surveillance video inside the building, authorities said.

Once on scene, deputies observed multiple suspects bringing bags of marijuana and other products to an awaiting vehicle, authorities said.

The suspects noticed the deputies and then fled back inside the building.

One of those suspects was arrested inside without incident.

One of the three of the suspects who fled outside through an uncovered door and into the woods was arrested before he was able to make it back to the getaway vehicle, deputies said.

A second suspect who fled into the woods was later found walking north on County Road 681 north of I-94, according to authorities.

The third suspect who fled into the woods and fourth suspect involved in the overall incident remains at large.

The vehicle used for this crime was reported to be stolen out of Battle Creek, deputies said.
