TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A 13-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was found unresponsive in a pool at Discovery Cove Tuesday, officials said.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Orlando theme park at 11:25 a.m. The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, authorities said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. No other information was made available.
Discovery Cove is the sister park of SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando. The park allows guests to interact with a range of marine animals, including bottlenose dolphins.
