Six arrested, drugs and gun seized in two Bakersfield dispensary raids – Bakersfield Now

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Six people were arrested after detectives with the Bakersfield Police Department Narcotics Unit and investigators with Kern County District Attorney’s Office served search warrants at two illegal marijuana dispensaries.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on May 23, 2024, detectives with the Bakersfield Police Department Narcotics Unit and investigators with Kern County District Attorney’s Office executed search warrants at two illegal marijuana dispensaries in Bakersfield.

Police said the first location was in the 4300 block of Stine Road.

According to BPD, detectives allegedly seized 17.1 pounds of marijuana plants, 76 pre-rolled marijuana cigars, 217 THC wax containers, $2,370, and a .25 caliber pistol.

Three employees, 29-year-old Raul Guillen, 23-year-old Jorge Saldana, and 27-year-old Skyler Stafford were arrested for charges associated with operating an illegal marijuana dispensary and illegal firearm possession.

Police said the second location was in the 2700 block of Brundage Lane.

Bakersfield police said detectives allegedly seized 20.5 pounds of marijuana plants, 256 THC vape containers, 61 pre-rolled marijuana cigars, 364 marijuana edibles, 358 THC wax containers, and $4,726.

Three employees, 23-year-old Jamon Turner, 29-year-old Mary Jane Cavazos, and 27-year-old Isaiah Gonzalez were arrested for charges associated with operating an illegal marijuana dispensary.
