ITHACA, NY – (WIVT/WBGH) The first legal marijuana dispensary in Ithaca, and one of the first in Upstate New York, is reopening with its fully renovated permanent store.
William Jane opened on The Commons in March of last year in what was only intended to be a temporary pop-up shop.
Owner William Durham of Binghamton has been working with the New York State Dormitory Authority on the buildout.

Durham has operated several businesses successfully over the years, including a convenience store and a construction company.
He also has a conviction for marijuana possession dating back to his 20’s which made him eligible for a license reserved for justice-involved individuals.
The store sells cannabis flower, beverages and edibles such as gummies produced in New York State.
The grand opening is taking place today at 4:20 p.m.
